Spooky season is almost upon us, and Eureka Springs has some of the best haunted places to visit in the Southeast. We have put together a quite haunting list of ghost adventures in Eureka Springs, but only if you dare.
#1 Crescent Hotel & Ghost Tours
First on our list of haunting adventures is The 1886 Crescent Hotel, known to be the most haunted hotel in America. A must-visit haunted destination, what started as an extravagant resort, served as a luxury retreat for the elite then transitioned to an all women’s college in the early 1900s. It wasn’t until 1937 that the Crescent took a dark turn. A con man by the name of Norman Baker converted the hotel into the Baker Cancer Clinic, portraying himself as a groundbreaking healer with the supposed "cure" for cancer. Sadly, many patients had to suffer and die before Baker was finally arrested and imprisoned for mail fraud. Still to this day restless spirits roam the halls and rooms of the Crescent Hotel. If you’re ready to immerse yourself in the paranormal; stay the night in one of their haunted rooms, take a hair raising ghost tour, or brave the midnight paranormal investigation tour.
