Although there are no big-box stores, malls or factory outlets within sight of Eureka Springs, there is plenty of shopping to be done. You’ll be intrigued by the array of unique and often quirky shops that line the historic district’s sloping streets–many located in the Victorian buildings that define the town’s architecture.

Entire stores are dedicated to items like kites and kaleidoscopes, quilts, herbs, beads, hot sauce, olive oils, and even log furniture, along with a variety of fashion-forward boutiques, custom jewelry stores, and myriad gift shops. And don’t forget our plentiful art galleries. In a town of 2,000, some 300 residents are working artists. Acquiring a treasured piece of original art is not hard to do in Eureka Springs.
