August Poetluck with Janie Pritchett-Clark

August 15 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

WCDH is proud to bring Janie Pritchett-Clark to WCDH for the first time. A retired journalist, Janie Pritchett-Clark is the writer behind the Cardboard Cottage Mystery series where #thehusbandalwaysdies. She pens her murders under the Jane Elzey nom de plume from her home in Eureka Springs, where she claims to eavesdrop on tourists for plausible and entertaining plots as to why the husband might bite the dust. Her first book in the series, Dying for Dominoes, was published in 2020. She is currently working on book #5, Ouija and Haints (in the Silent City), a cold case set in the 1920s.

We are delighted to invite you to attend Poetluck, an open mic style poetry reading event at The Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow (WCDH). Poetluck provides a supportive and inclusive space for writers to share their work and connect with fellow literary enthusiasts in the community. We welcome writers of all genres and experience levels to join us and share their poems, stories, and essays with our audience. The evening starts with a potluck meal at 6:00 PM, bring a dish to share or not, there is always enough. The open mic style readings start at 6:30 PM.

“We are excited to welcome Eureka Springs’s writer Janie Pritchett-Clark with her wickedly fun slant on murder mysteries” stated Nancy Paddock WCDH Workshop Coordinator.
